One Gravel Road
This project was my attempt to form a deep connection with a portion of landscape. The area I focused on was Cruger Island Road, a one mile gravel path which cuts through New York State conservation land, culminating at the Hudson River. To create this project, I repeatedly walked the road with a 4x5 view camera, attempting to communicate my experience of being with the land. Originally presented as 11x14 silver gelatin prints.
